Energy healing

Apart from the work

work with individuals, groups and organizations René noticed that

his particular energy healing technique comes from the Q’ero shamans in the Andes.  The Illumination Process transforms heavy energies into light, or a different way of describing it is that it transforms emotional wounds into sources of power and knowledge.  The premise is that we have an energy field surrounding us.  This energy field holds imprints of past trauma and emotional wounds, which causes a person to repeat unwanted behavioral patterns.  The Illumination Process cleans these imprints from our energy field, resulting in more positive behavior. The healing session begins and ends with brief conversations.  The actual treatment will take place mostly in silence on a massage table.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.  The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words –Rei, which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki, which is "life force energy."  So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."  A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including the body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.  The session will take place mostly in silence on a massage table.

Our spiritual journey is uniquely personal, it is about how we recognize and respond to the invitation of the Spirit. A guide is often helpful in navigating and making sense of the spiritual landscape. A guide serves as a sounding board and who helps formulate the right questions. It is someone who is sensitive to the movements of the Spirit in a person's life and someone who knows when to step aside so that they won't be confused with the "voice" of the Spirit. Conversations with a guide ensure attention to the spiritual journey, attention fosters spiritual growth.

Special moments in the cycle of life are enriched by a ceremony specially designed for the occasion. Part of every ceremony is "to hold space" for the sacredness of that moment. Special moments may be birth, death, illness, commitment, separation, transitions - for example, coming of age, moving into a new house, career change or retirement. René can help you to create a personal and deeply meaningful ceremony.

René's journey prepared him for the healing and spiritual work he is currently engaged in. He was an ordained Jesuit priest and worked as a spiritual and 30-day silent retreat director. After obtaining his PhD in pastoral counseling, he practiced as a licensed psychotherapist for many years. He studied the unconscious processes in groups, became an executive coach working for premier business schools and he has taught graduate courses at various universities. More recently René studied shamanic healing techniques and he became a Reiki practioner. He not only relies on professional experience, he has a deep personal understanding of living with Spirit and energy work.
